THE West Lothian branch of the Retired Greyhound Trust stages a Greyhound Fun Night at Shawfield Stadium in Glasgow on Saturday, August 4.

In addition to being a hugely enjoyable occasion for those already familiar with greyhounds it will also offer the chance to those that are strangers to the breed to get to know what makes greyhounds tick.

Beth Haley, from the West Lothian branch, said: “We want everyone to copme down to the show and have a really good time. There will be a raffle with fabulous prizes and you can sponsor a race or a dog with trophies to the winning owner/trainer.

“We are firm believers greyhounds make great pets. All you have to do is spend a few moments with one before it will capture your heart. So please come to the stadim and find out why so many people adore these fantastic dogs.”
